:) I'm back! It has been quite a while since I have logged in to LDL! Missed you all! At first I had trouble logging in; I guess it had been so long since the last time, that my username was ''lost'' and couldn't be recovered. I had to create a new profile. My name is still SweetRose- remember me??-...

Thanks Roger and everyone! I am glad to be back on the LDL program and posting again. I have re-read many of the discussions on the forum, and some of the recipes, too. Snowbirdie, Hanley is about 185 miles from where we live. I looked it up and it looks like a nice area. We plan to visit as many pl...

Hi Linda! Good to hear from you! I have heard from a few of the ''regulars ''besides yourself and was wondering about the others, too. The ones who posted all the time? I'm wishing that the LDL program would be publicized more, because I think it's a wonderful WOE and losing for most people. I know ...

I don't have the red book with me right now so I am wondering if carrots are allowed? I really don't care for them raw, but I love them roasted in the oven and sprayed with EVOO. I eat a lot of them at a time, but not often enough to turn my skin orange, haha!

Hi LittlePrincess! Are you still on LDL? I just came back and have started January 1. I was interested in the corn pasta you talked about. I want to see if I can order it here in England. I'll do what you did and make it a treat twice a month. I think I have bought corn penne- like macaroni in recen...

Butter beans and cooked carrots. Here in England you can get different combinations of what is called ''mash''. Sometimes swede and carrots. I've tried potatoes and carrots, back when I was eating potatoes all the time! It was good, but I thought to be ''legal'' I would try butter beans with a few c...

Here's my opinion of the carrot/bean recipe. (Drum roll). It was very good! I would make it again. I just used one can of drained and rinsed butter beans to about 3 medium chunked and boiled carrots. Put it all in the blender to puree, and added sea salt, ground pepper, garlic and a bit of plant-bas...

Hi Linda!

I just mixed it with water- two tablespoons is a serving- and spread it on 2 corn thins. It wasn't great, but not bad. Had a slight taste of peanut butter. It's something that I would never go hog wild with, believe me!

I have tried some of the recipes in the red book, but I have yet to try the pizza soup! It sounds really good! I like the fact that the recipes there have to pass the ''test'' in order to be included in the book. Roger, do you ever have plans to update the book or to get another magazine article out...

I dearly love popcorn, stale or otherwise. I perhaps eat too much of it at times?

Speaking of corn thins- are they thinner now? I hadn't bought any in a while, so when I went back to good ol' LDL eating I ordered them - same brand and original- but thought they looked thinner than usual. Maybe it's because I'm comparing them to rice cakes that are thicker?

Thanks Roger. I am so sorry about your mom passing on and your puppy becoming ill. We would certainly miss you if you were to leave the LDL forum, and we hope you don't, but we would understand. Is Little Mary still an administrator? Since the posting dates have been removed I can't tell who posted ...

I'll look for that on Amazon Roger. Don't know if I can find no-yoke noodles in grocery stores here. If I have a twice- a- month pasta craving I do use Dreamfields. The pasta is tasty- can't tell it from regular- and does not leave you with a bloated feeling after eating. I was just asking about the...
