Dug out my book, sneaking back in

So much has been happening.

Well my Son is married. It was very pretty.  I am so glad it is over.

I booked a cruise to Hawaii in December for Bill and I, and need to get healthy before I attempt this.

A couple friends joined WW and begged me to come back with them. I did and failed, as usual.

On a high note we adopted a 2 year old Basset hound, George. He is an amazing and fun dog :)

and here I am, I am tired, and bloated and praying that I can find my way again.

51... Thought about you many times... Glad you are back. It will take some time, not all of us loose fast.. Hanging in there day after day is the key to getting there. You can do it!

51, how is your daycare going? according to my nurtition monitor not many people have very many kids because of job loss. Wandered how you were doing. I still have 11, so thankful. Will lose 2 this year going to school.

I am still at capacity. I am a small (8) day care so I think easier for me to stay full.

Oh you have no idea what your kind words mean to me. Thank you so much, it is good to be back.

This morning I woke up and can feel the difference already, not weight wise, just mental health wise.

I am actually looking forward to a good day, funny thing is, this way of living I can do, got to wonder why I ever fell off. Probably cause sugar and wheat are my drug of choice.

My sweet husband comes home from his convention today :) and I am going with pals to see the stage play GREASE and doing lunch out :)

This morning I had a bunch of tangerines I got from the farmers market last week, and coffee.

I am looking forward to feeling great on our cruise in December, to Hawaii, :) just me and my sweet husband.

51 - it does help reading the book again.  Every time I read it I see things in it I forgot about.  Glad you are back to LDL.  Much success on your way to Skinnytown.  You will do great.  Make sure you eat enough.  Don't know if you like beans or not, but it really helps me to eat bean soups for lunches and dinners.  As much as I love fruit, at dinnertime it just doesn't seem appealing, as I fix savory meals for my family, so I don't want sweet at that time.  The beans soups help with that because they are so filling and savory (and there are so many bean recipes to choose from on these boards).  Then I might have some fruit for a snack after dinner.  I love mangos.  I've been finding them in my area at 10 for $10.00, which is a good deal, since Walmart supercenter usually has them for $1.38 each (outrageous)!  I'm sure you will have lost quite a bit of weight by the time of your cruise.  You can do it!  We're all rooting for ya!  Jerrie :)

Welcome Back!

I was wondering what happened to you and now we know. Sometimes we need a little enforcement to help us make up our minds as to which way to go in life... well, it looks like WW wasn't the right path for you and so many others that just don't know it, yet. Hopefully, that will soon change.

Also, if you don't mind me saying so...don't continue to mix the tangerines with coffee unless you want major heartburn down the road. It's just a suggestion  *hug*....green tea (has caffeine) mixes much better with acidic fruits and actually helps our bodies to absorb the beneficial properties...that's why I add a lemon wedge/slice to my tea.

You're going to look awesome for your cruise. Like Pam said, we're here for you.

CQ

I know green tea is good, however I adore coffee... I used to drink 8 cups in the morning, I am down to 4 :) been lucky I have a pretty iron clad stomach and heart burn has never been a big worry.

Breakfast tangerines & coffee
~~Then off with pals to see the play GREASE after lunch.  It was a fun play and lunch was good.
lunch lean ground beef, big salad
~~when I got home Bill was here :) I was so glad he was home. He had a good weekend at his conference. We went to cost co and got tomatoes, corn on the cob, berries, broccoli & melons.
Dinner corn on the cob, black berries, and strawberries, and as a treat a sugar free 7-11 slurpee (not sure about this but it is SF)
~~Now watching Little Flockers with the dogs and hubby, it was a good day :)
