I get hungry with just fruit and find that adding popcorn or corn thins and vegetables of some kind makes me feel more satisfied. But I'm sure that the weight would come off much faster with just fruit!
Also, do any of you eat late at night? And still lose? (Approved LDL foods, of course).

I think you would be better off with just the popcorn. Our bodies don't need a lot of fruit, a few wedges of apple or a handful of berries are plenty. Fresh veggies are best for snacking.

I LOVE Joe to pieces but I disagree with him on this. I believe that if you are hungry at night and you want veggies or fruit then that is what you should eat. I lost 85 pounds on LDL and I ate fruit and veggies frequently at night when I did. We are all different and it's a matter of figuring out what works for you. You might try just veggies one night and see if that is more satisfying to you. I sometimes had veggies and then fruit after. I also had popcorn some nights as well. Let us know what works for you.

I will do "tests" on fruit, veggies and popcorn and see what happens. I am not a fruit eater much unless I have popcorn- I'm always thirsty afterward.

I try not to eat very late. It is good for weight loss and your body to give it a longer window without food. It works. I usually stop snacking by 7. JF
