Started up again about 1 1/2 months ago and it’s the best plan. The hardest part is getting your head into it. This time I made small steps and it was painless. I began by drinking 16 oz water with the juice of a lemon every morning. That was all I did. Then a week or so later I started eating a bowl of bean soup every lunch time. That in itself keeps me from desiring breads and bad carbs. I eat fruit when wanting something sweet. I make kombucha and still drink some of that most days. I’ve lost about 15 lbs. so far, so I’m very pleased.
Oh, and I learned to soak my beans for 2 days instead of just overnight. I rinse several time throughout that time. It really helps de gas the beans.
