Can you have whole grain oatmeal?

is it best though to avoid all grains except corn/popcorn /corn thins?? i like to keep it simple -like your book

The only oatmeal recommended is the steel cut oats.
I use them only very occassionally as I believe they may contain a small amount of gluten.
I use them mostly for the grandkids who are thin because the steel cut oats are unprocessed.
