DANG! Here my household is -- in the midst of the worst financial drought we've had in the past 3 years. It's going to be very dry around here for at least six weeks. I'd gladly sell anything to earn the $379, but nobody is buying either.

(One young adult female - going cheap - low mileage - like new. You have to work in order to get worn out.) *evil*

Looks like Anita has made up her mind about whether she wants to get a Vita-Mix. Judging from her reaction to this loaner, it looks like she MAY be a shoo-in to get one. Judging by our Fearless Leader's expression, however, it will not be without a struggle.

How could he possibly refuse this lovely lady, his helpmeet, his soul mate? ? ? She's the perfect Luncher, all ready with ripe bananas to make his next smoothie ! ! !

Mary, is there a way to lock this at the top as a constant reminded to his emminence?

That picture is soooooooo funny....Vitamix should use it as part of their ad campaign...it's wonderful!!

i can't remember now how much i paid for my vitamix.. i got it on ebay -- i guess it was last year? -- for a fraction of the price and even though it's an older version, it works just great. It's definitely worth it! In fact i love that mine is stainless steel. I don't see them making stainless stell anymore...or do they? It's so easy to clean and i pity the fruit or veggie that gets tangled up in them thar blades! When i used a little machine it took me 1/2 hour to make LDL icecream...but with the vitamix it's done in about 7 minutes....and i don't have to keep starting and stopping and rearranging the contents......

I vote for a vitamix in every kitchen!
