I used the "First" article & the message boards as the basis of my LDL beginnings.
After 3 weeks, I've cheated exactly once at a restaurant, eating a toasted whole wheat egg salad sandwich.
My chocoholic cravings have nearly disappeared.
I've never eaten so much fruit & popcorn, & bought Real Foods original popcorn thins at Whole Foods.
We've been taking advantage of all the luscious melons available.
I purchased the LDL book today from this site.
I really like the fact I'm not desperately searching for every piece of chocolate I can find anymore. ;D
I make lots of bean & turkey crumble, chicken & salad, fish & corn on the cob, salmon burgers w/out the bun.
I'm swimming, riding a bike, & lifting barbells.
I definitely have more energy during my 12 hour shifts at the hospital.
Thank you Roger & all the message board users who give great tips & recipes, plus motivational cheering! *love*

Welcome Janet!  That is wonderful how your chocoholic cravings have nearly disappeared.  That's one of the most amazing things to me about LDL.............freedom from cravings.  Congratulations on more energy too!

I went with my family to a pizza buffet today and ate only the salad........2 trips to the salad bar.  I was not tempted one bit by the pizza or the ice cream for desert.  Unheard of!!!  If I hadn't experienced it, I don't know if I would have believed it.

Hmmm, Ellenton is not that far from Sarasota, right?  We're practically neighbors!
Wish you continued success,
mrsj (Julie)

Many thanks, Roger.
Saw my GP for a checkup & labs drawn 3 weeks ago.
I'm good to go!
I have an idea that eating non-processed foods the LDL way
means the kidneys, liver, colon, & lymph nodes do not have
to work so hard to filter & excrete the food & beverages consumed.
Resulting in more energy!
The cells are getting pure nutrients to replenish the mitochondrial,
instead of toxic material.
Good luck to all my fellow LDLers, I look forward to receiving my book
& utilizing the recipes!
