Is there anyone else who makes their popcorn flour with the magic bullet?

I was wondering if anyone else makes their popcorn flour with the magic bullet. I tried with mine and it never turned it into a powder. Am I not leaving it in long enough or maybe am I using the wrong blade? How long do you leave it in and what blade works the best?

I do Tina, I use the nut grate one not the chopping blade, it does take some time sometimes to get ALL the kernals but I put about 1/2 the big bullet cup with popcorn and shake and pulse and let it  dust the house

Hi Tina,
I use the Magic Bullet and it makes great popcorn flour.  I use the same blade that I use for the smoothie (cross blade).  I use the tall container and fill it full of popcorn (I don't force it, just fill it loosely).  I usually have to stop it and shake it maybe 3 or 4 times to get it all ground up.  I get quite a bit out of a 1/2 cup of popped corn. 

Everyone says it is pretty dusty, but I don't seem to have that problem.  Maybe it is the blade I am using?? Hope that helps you out.

Thanks yall! I will try it again, I was using the wrong blade and I don't think I was letting it grind long enough.

Hey Tina,

I'm a magic bullet girl too.  I use the same blade that yall use to make smoothies.  I have to move it around just a bit but it works.    I have a food processer that I use sometimes too but the lil bullet actually makes the flour finer than that.  I hope you get better results with the other blade.

Thanks LP! I don't think I have been leaving it in long enough. I have only been leaving it in for a minute or so, I am always so scared it is going to over heat or something if it runs too long. I know that sounds silly! I will get over my ocd and keep it on for longer!

Mine does get a little hot but it's a strong machine.  I've been using it for over three years now and it's still going strong.

Hi Tina....I have a bullet but decided to make my popcorn flour with my food processor...it holds alot more popcorn  and grinds it finer.....I made 1/2 gallon container of it...works great...

I posted some hints, last week, on how to make it popcorn flour...you might check it out...

It was really really messy...so I used an extension cord and put my processor out on the patio....did everything out there...no mess inside...

Me too! My food processor doesn't grind mine fine enough!
