When did everyone start LDL?

Post by rhonda67 »

My question is when did everyone start LDL and how much weight have you lost?

I started a June 17th and just had to weigh this morning and had lost around 6 pounds!!! But I do know the 1st week is usually more of a weight loss.

So would everyone one please put the date when you started?

Did you start on June 17th, or July 17th?  It sounds like you meant to type July, since you say you lost 6 lbs. in a week.
I started June 13th and weighed in on July 13th ---14 lbs. lighter!.
I wonder what the scale will tell me on Aug. 13th  ;)

I  started 3 days ago and haven't weighed myself yet.  Hoping for a loss when I weigh in next.

Ya know I didn't even write it done but I think I started around the 1st part of June, then my family all came for a week over the 4th and  I totally did not try or follow  ldl.Just to hard for me with having to cook for 7 extra people plus have a  BIG family bbq. With all that said I have lost 13.5 lbs.

That's great everyone! I can't keep myself off the scales and I know I need to. I guess I need to put them out of sight (outta sight, outta mind)....LOL
Anyway, I am having trouble finding foods to fix because I don't cook that much. Any ideas...Like simple recipes.

I have found that everyone here is so nice.  *hug*

I hope I can continue and lose the weight I need to.

Thanks everyone! Rhonda

I just started on July 6th.  I've lost 4 pounds in the first two weeks, but I expected that I wouldn't lose quickly.  I promise that I'll be patient and stick with it!

I started May 26th. I'm down at least one size and will weigh on July 26th to see the pounds lost. I'm mostly concerned about inches and am very pleased with whats happening to my body, skin, teeth and hair not to mention my lipid profile - all the numbers are improving! :rose: Lynda

I started May 16th, and have lost 18 pounds on ldl, but I'd been losing since January, so the total on my ticker includes the weight loss before ldl and including ldl.  I have also gone from a size 20 to a size 14 - 16.

I started July 4 and so did my husband.  I have lost 11 pounds and my husband has lost 17.  I don't have to lose very much and went on LDL more for my husband to see if it would help him with his high cholesterol and high blood pressure.  But guess what happened?  My 11 pounds enabled me to get into one size smaller and my husband is down one size in his pants!  His blood pressure is down and he is having another lipid test in September and I am sure that will have improved as well.

We were talking this morning about when we reach our goals, and jointly agreed that this way of eating will continue to be a part of our lives because we both love it and know it will keep us healthy in the years to come.
