Keep up the good work.  I personally have made donations thru church and the Clinton Foundation for Haiti.  We are so blessed with not going to bed hungry.  If we gave up one meal and donated that money it would make a differece.

Wow Mary, what a great thing you are doing!  Are you connected with a missions group or other charity already?  If not, our church is connected with three medical teams leaving this week and a missionary family already established there before the earthquake that came through it fine and is busy ministering and preparing for the medical teams.

What a blessing, Mary!  What you are doing with the Sunday school kids is awesome.  This is the way kids learn to care for others and look beyond their own needs.  When I was teaching there was a children's home in Mexico that my students gave money to.  We did something each year I called "Lolli-Grams" -- The kids would make construction paper cards and we'd sell them to other students in the school (students would write notes to the people they sent them to).  We would attach a lolli pop to each, and deliver the Lolli-Grams to the person.  It just made the kids feel important and that they could make a difference.  So with the Lolli-Grams and the money they gave after lunch each day, we had a nice size check each year.  You'll reach your goal.
