Weigh in after my first week

Post by 51_too_young_to_be_old »

SIT DOWN!     -11 POUNDS   I was full, happy full of energy! I am in love with this way of eating  :inlove:

yesterday after the aquarium everyone wanted to go to Gianni's  -- then I got the "well not if it will blow your diet" helpful talk from everyone. So I am so proud of me I said, first this is not a diet, this is a way of eating, Gianni's has salad I will have that, I do not eat pizza, besides it always gave me heart burn.  We went, I had a very nice salad, and was not even tempted, in fact, the pizza just did not feel appetizing.

then MY treat we went to Whole foods! I got corn crisps and champagne grapes, they are little itty bitty grapes that are soooo sweet :)

I am so proud of you!  Doesn't it make you feel so great to easily avoid the traps that we used to fall into?  And it's not like you were feeling deprived at all because a salad was delicious enough.  I hate to say it...but when I shop, or go out to eat, I feel so superior when I see people buying those not so good for you foods.  My cart is full of healthy fruits, vegetables, and beans...and I am feeling like a kid at Christmas.  I love this WOE!  I look forward to every meal now without the guilt.  Miracles do happen...lol    Lisa

Thanks ROger :) I kind of figured this was a very nice fluke, so I better enjoy the moment.

question. I found corn crisp yesterday at Whole foods they also had some with flax or sesame in them too, I figured those would not be the same though... was I correct?

Not sure Corn Crisps and Corn Thins are the same thing. The Original Corn Thins are the only ones recommended. They are just pressed popcorn.

YOU GO GIRL!  Keep on keeping LDL and you'll continue to lose weight the right way by eating all the LDL foods you want until you are full.  Roger is right though, don't get discouraged if you don't lose the same amount next week. But you WILL lose weight if you continue on the LDL path  *hug* .
