Roger- I can see where you're coming from, however, "hard to digest" sounds like the foods might cause indigestion. I'm stumped for a better description. I bet someone can come up with a great subtitle. How about another contest, like the one that Cameron won with a sweatshirt as a prize. Competition might bring out a lot of creativity!

maybe "Crave-free Carbs"?
If thou shalt confess with your mouth the L-rd Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that G-d hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. Roman's 10:9-10

I like slow-digesting.
Re: Thinking About CHANGING the Subtitle of the Book...What Do You Think?
i think the general public sees carbs as either "good" or "bad"
i totally do not like "hard to digest" carbs and the title should be short and sweet instead of something long and hard to remember
Eating all the CALORIES and UNPROCESSED CARBS you want to lose weight!
will have to give it some thought

I like "Crave free" . not all the good carbs are stabilizing for everyone.. many people cannot eat all the fruit that you have eaten on this woe.. A lot of the beans etc.. are hard to digest...

Perhaps something with a more positive message built right in...a catchy jacket blurb that would grab the shopper's attention in a either a brick and mortar, or a cyber bookstore stocked with dozens of diet books? How about something like:
Let's Do Lunch...Eat All The Calories and Good-For-You Carbs You Want And Still Lose Weight

After reading all the suggestions listed on both posts I think "Beneficial Carbs" might be the better choice.
The media has bombarded us with "Good Carbs" versus "Bad Carbs" and whole grain breads, pasta, rice and Idaho potatoes are considered "Good Carbs," therefore, known by the public as being "Healthy Carbs."
The whole idea behind LDL is to educate everyone that not all so-called "Good Carbs" as presented by the media are healthy to lose weight. In fact, can actually cause diseases. If that were the case then we wouldn't have the obesity/disease problem that we have today in the US. But, as Wendy mentioned on the other post, the word "Beneficial" would get her attention as well as mine. Plus, it wouldn't be misleading to the public.

Re: Thinking About CHANGING the Subtitle of the Book...What Do You Think?
I have been following LDL since March, when a friend passed on an article from a magazine to me about it. As someone who has tried everything to lose weight, and was never successful for long, this way of eating is the best "diet" I have ever been on. I think the title of your book should mention something about eating all the good calories and best carbs to lose weight.
My husband started LDL with me and he has lost over 50 lbs. since March. I have lost over 40 lbs. We feel so much better! We love never being hungry, hardly any cravings, and not even wanting snacks between meals! I really think we were addicted to things made with sugar and flour! We are very thankful to have been pointed towards this way of eating!

How about "healthy carbs" or even "fibre-rich carbs"?
