Ah oh Roger! Did you really miss that ingredient or were you just testing us to see if we read the ingredients?  Lol

A good reminder, Mary.  Reading the ingredient (not the nutrition) label on everything (and I do mean everything) we purchase at the grocery store is the secret to eliminating hidden sugars which have been proven to cause the rise in obesity in America.  Hidden sugars are anything that ends in "ose" and high fructose corn sugar/syrup is one of the worst. Also, beware of any fat that has been "partially hydrogenated" because this causes fatty buildup in the arteries of your body which is really bad for your heart.

My cousin told me about the same dip, so I had checked it out several weeks ago.  Ingredient reading is very important, but sometimes we think a little won't hurt. Hummus is so easily made.  Little Mary and Julie had  made some in  in SA, so now it is a staple for me.  It stays nice in the frig.  I like it on my cornthins when I eat my soups.  When I take it to the workshops, people can't believe it is homemade.  Thanks for all the good recipes that are so easily made.  :)  JF

*scyth* You know RT, if a certain kitchen appliance hadn't been sent back, you (uh, I mean Neets, who are we kidding?!) could make really creamy, tasty, Tahini free hummus. *woot*

I am sure it can be done in the Ninja!

Linda, I agree, but I'm thinking he doesn't own the Ninja either.  Mary has more specific words to describe what we are all thinking about him right now with respect to purchasing an adequate blender for his wife, but I'm much more reserved. *love*  Just for the record RT, do you happen to own a Ninja?  If yes, has Mary actually seen it (note: doesn't count if you bought one, she saw it, then you took it back)?

Julie, he claims to be using their Ninja to make LDL icecream. We can only hope he still has it and uses it.

Then Roger is a real "actor?"
He sure looked like he knew how to cook on the 700 Club.
Wonder how many hours he put in practicing for that part!
