Hi All,
Today I was at the doctors and guess what She took me off 1 medication. She says after speaking to the cardiologist I no longer need it!
Perhaps in another 3 months we will be able to drop another one.
This is the first year after 4 years that I can mow the grass. I can do it without stopping and feeling no problems. I just can't mow when it is too hot. She said whatever I am doing I should keep up the good work. I told her it is the BEANS!

oh...but do watch out for the heat. It's absolutely oppressive.

Margo,
Not to worry! The weather here has been nice and cool. In the mornings we need a light sweat jacket and at night if the window is open we need a quilt or comforter. This has been a very cool summer and rainy.It hasn't been warmer than in the 80's. Wow my kind of weather.

Hi Little Mary...

Should be cooler in Rhode Island! But i think i heard a report yesterday on the television that said we're in for another 3 days of this blasted heatwave. :'(

ANd i heard that some folks in Brooklyn lost electric service yesterday. YIPES!!

My husband was mumbling something about it being hot as hell....but he took it back when i mentioned that Hell is probably waaaaaay hotter than this!!

We both settled down and stopped complaining about the heat! $:-\$ :-X

Mary I wish I could do it tomorrow night, but I have a meeting I need to attend. Of all my rotten luck !!

When you go to the Statue, did you purchase tickets FOR THE STATUE. Since 9/11, one ticket gets you onto the Island ONLY. The other ticket allows you inside the Statue - however from what I've been told you cannot go up into the Statue any longer. You get to go into the "pedestal" - which is fun in itself. If you have time, I would suggest Ellis' Island too.

It's the beans!! They are life-savers. When anything else stops working, check your bean consumption...it has to be that. Praise God. His good stuff produces good stuff in us!
