Just want to share this recipe with everyone. I made this yesterday and will be having it for my lunch for the next few days. Along with a little butterbean salad as a side dish. It is soooooo good. I love this stew. Hope everyone enjoys it as much as I do.

Re: Cabbage Patch Stew
I made this stew and would highly recommend it. It is so filling that I could only eat one big bowl. But, it makes a hugh batch -- enough to freeze for many more meals. But because I love cabbage I would probably add even more the next time I make it.

Re: Cabbage Patch Stew
Your right VickiLynn it is really filling, and it does make a lot. I'm the only one on LDL in my house hold so I eat on it for a long time. I checking on another recipe that includes cabbage, but it also calls for red potatoes so I waiting to see what Rodger says about it first. I could leave the potatoes out but I really am hopeing to be able to put them in. Charlotte

Re: Cabbage Patch Stew
I believe boiled potatoes are OK too. Trouble is, they don't freeze well.
This would be delish over baked or boiled potatoes though.
