Thanks Mary, It sure is a nice recipe. This is gonna be good one day this week. I was thinking when I find some oysters in the market I might have some oyster stew too.    Judie

Mary,

Thanks a lot  for doing this for us.  I've been wishing for a bowl of clam chowder for some time and KNOW this will be good.  I haven't tried any of your recipes yet that weren't delicious. I have all the ingredients so ready to make it.

Thanks again for taking your time to do this.

Hugs, Carrole

Yeah!  Thanks so much!  I know this will be great for my one (somewhat onry) son who still claims the canned canned version is still his favorite soup...and has had it maybe once in two years!

Blessings and Thanks,
Julie

Mary, this looks good.  How to you think it would freeze, if I had leftovers?  I like to make lots of soup and freeze in individual servings for work, or whenever.

Little Mary,
Just so you know Jim said the" Clam Chowder is a 5 star soup"!!!!!!Thank you so much for making this recipe. BTW have you ever made a recipe for a vege drink similar to V8? I have not been successful, I do have a vitamix, can't get the right combination. *grrr*

Hi Marie,
I was watching unwrapped on food network and they were telling what was in v8. I am trying to remember:
tomato, celery, parsly, water cress, carrots, beets, lettuce and spinach, I don't recall what else but these are the veggies
        hope this helps

Thanks, Gwen.  I have been lurking lately.  I was off track for a while and got sick of feeling yucky everytime I ate, so I am back now.  Sure feels good.  Have been eating LDL for like a month now.  I refuse to weigh except at the Dr, so I don't know how I am doing.  I do know I look like I lost weight and I feel much better.
