Post by FLOWERS »

Hi i am new here also it made a week yesterday.
I have a green bean salad that is very good.
1lb of fresh green beans boil for about 4-5 min
            1/3 cup of olive oil
2 1/2 tb. white wine vinegar
              1 tb.  dijon mustard
              1/4 tsp dried dill
              1/2 tsp salt & pepper
whisk olive oil and the nexted 5 ingredients. Than drain beans and poor over the beans i also add 1/3 cup of red onion chopped. This is a great dish for a cookout or a nice sidedish. Can be eaten hot or cold taste better cold.
Enjoy Carol

  Great green beans are hard to find at the grocery store and I am now watching my green bean trellis for home grown so that I can try this recipe, and am chomping at the bit, and if I do find some good ones locally that is the first thing I am going to try.

Thanks a bunch..

Welcome and best of luck with the program!  I have been following LDL for over a year, but I don't get a chance to post very often.  Thanks for the recipe.  It sounds delish.
