1 med. head of cabbage-shredded
1 med. onion-finely chopped
6 pkg of splenda sprinkled over cabbage mixture

In a sauce pan mix:
1/2 C red wine vinegar
1/2 c. oil(olive oil)
1 Tbs. Celery Seed
1 tsp Salt
1 Tsp Dry Mustard
cook over med heat until it boils

Pour over cabbage and onions and mix well.  Refridgerate for 3 hours.

You can add other veggies to this slaw.  I added celery and waterchestnuts.

I put this in my favorites and can't wait to try it!I love the taste of red wine vinegar so I'm lookin forward to it!

I made it the other day for my bowling league for st. pattys day.. They loved it and want the recipe next week.. Im not a fan of cold cabbage but i did like the dressing..

I made your salad last week and I have a question.  Do you really use 1 tablespoon of celery seed?  I used that much and found the salad to be overpowering. I am definintely going to make it again because I loved the dressing but will cut down the amount of celery seed to 1 teaspoon.

P.S.  I wonder how our little Katie, who lost over 100 pounds, is doing.  Has anyone heard from her?

It may have been an error.  I haven't made this for along time so will have to test it out.  I am bad about measuring things so I just dump and then try to figure out the recipe when it turns out good to my taste buds.  Sometimes that creates a problem so it certainly could have been a tsp instead of a Tbs.
Glad you liked the taste of it.
