I was looking for black bean recipes for soup that is not spicy hot and ran across this salad that sounded good.

Glad you liked it.  I think black beans would be good in most anything.  I never tated a black bean until I started LDL and learned I love the flavor.

Wendy,

I looked at your link and thought the recipe sounded wonderful. But my husband hates canned tuna, even though I love it. I noticed on the web page where the tuna recipe is listed there was also a recipe for Black Bean Chicken Salad which I printed out to try.  The dressing alone is worth making.

I made this salad today and it is very good.  I did add a little garlic for more flavor and I didn't peel or de-seed tomatoes.  We ate it on top of the lettuce like a salad rather then a wrap.  So there is a variety of things that can be done to this salad and still have it taste delicious.
