Artichokes marinated in oil

I'm wondering if these can be added to salads if rinsed well first?

I buy the marinated Artichokes in a glass jar.  I have enjoyed them for years, and they are in Olive Oil, and the other ingredients are fine.  So good for a side.  I have never cooked them from scratch except the time I thought it was avocado.  I tried it in the micro--sooo tough.        I can't believe how much I am enjoying avocados, a nice addition to my Mexican food.  I will probably stick to the marinated jar that I buy unless I get a good recipe. I got raves again on my Mexican chicken--Little Mary's recipe.  It is so easy to do and looks festive and it is delicious.  I use a little ff sour cream and avocado on the side.  Joyful Friend
