I find it regularly at Kroger's too. They also have it in the organic section. It's taste a lot like licorice to me, but in a milder way. I have a friend that doesn't like licorice at all, but loves when I cook fennel. Go figure!
I cook with my chicken and cabbage too. Makes me think of St. Patty's Day, oh and is AWESOME of the grille :D

Little Mary I would say you nailed it! :D I'm having trouble finding jicama again. *sighs* Hopefully I can talk to the manager at the grocery store in this town and they will order some. I miss my hash browns man! LOL

I was looking for the recipe for unstuffed cabbage and hit this by mistake. I think I will try it too.
