Hi, I am so excited about this program. I need to lose about 35 pounds. I really hope that I can get not only my weight under control but my really high cholesterol and blood sugar numbers down. I am going through menopause also.Really really hard to lose weight. I have such cravings and eat when stressed. I don't have the book yet. Just read about the program in the First magazine. Hoping for encouragement and tips on my trip to skinnytown.

Thanks, electricj1316. I am excited to get the book. I just ordered it today. I went to Barnes and Noble because I wanted it right away but they have to order it also so I decided I would rather order it from this web site anyway. I know that this will work. Thanks for the encouragement.

Good morning Ladies!!  I picked up First yesterday at the grocery store, read the article and ordered my book this morning.  This looks like a plan that I can stick to  longer than a week.  Just spent 2 weeks trying to do a detox, rice and fish along with all the detox supplements lost 3 pounds and I am now sick of rice!!!  I'm starting this morning with my smoothie, I have rice protein powder so I'll probably add that.  I'll be interested in hearing your progress  Good Luck too you...Dee

Welcome deeda...you're going to love LDL and the flexibility.  You can eat so many wonderful foods on the program.  You'll feel great and lose the weight too.  Come back to the boards often and update us on your progress.  God bless you.

Hi Dee, and welcome!

At least you won't have to face more rice on this plan!

Seriously, though, if you've done detox programs, I can tell you're concerned about your health, and into trying to do positive things for yourself. You've ended up in the right place!

I've only been doing the LDL program for about a week based on the info I've found on these boards -- my book just arrived yesterday. I haven't weighed in, as it's not healthy for your mind or your success on the plan to step on the scales often, but I can feel some good things happening. And I love not feeling deprived or starved or frustrated with the choices!

Let us know how it goes for you!

Terri

I ordered the book this morning, I saw a message that a new book came out today so I'm hoping that my book will arrive soon.
