4 Months Today and more than halfway!

Post by omigosho »

I am so very excited to say that I have been doing LDL for Four months now.  I have lost FORTY pounds.  I am so amazed and very happy!
My colleagues at work call me "Skinny"  Hows that for ya!
I was hanging my new jeans on the line to dry this week and my daughter said "Daddy's jeans are really long"  I said no baby those are Mommy's jeans!  He wears a 32" waist.  I am not in his jeans yet but I will be when I am at my goal.
I am in size 14/16 from a 20.  I thank God for this program and I tell everyone I can about it!

WOW!!!!!!!    ;D

That is so great! Congratulations! I'm nearing the end of week two (I actually had to go and look at my bank statement to find that out) and feel great! I've actually lost 14 pounds, but more importantly I have been able to tighten my belt by two whole notches!!!  *love*

Just wondering, Have you followed LDL to a T?

Pretty much. I don't cheat. Minus 1 week I was on a cruise.  Then right back at it.
I do eat mixed nuts with rasins while working evenings at the hospital.  I just cannot get by on only fruit with the pace I keep up.  But overall yes.  I only allow myself 1-2 times a week to eat dinner at night.  I have found that slows the weight loss down.
It is soooooo worth it though.  Keep at it!

Wow!  You must be so happy with yourself.  I can hardly wait to say that I'm half way to my goal weight, but I have to say, I am very confident that I, too, will be posting about it in the future :D.  Congratulations!  Pam

You kidding?  Oh my, YES!  I mean there are teachers and then there are Teachers *love*.
I picture you mixing FUN with Gem style bits of craziness and wisdom and patriotism and love......and a no-nonsense approach on those rare occasions that need be, believe it or not.  Yep, that's what I think.

Gem;
I HATE to be a party pooper! But all the 'in-motion' graphics are making me sick (headache and nausea).
I can't read anything on the screen when they are there too.

(Not trying to be ugly. I just can't handle them...)

At first I started answering... Then I realized that you were being a smarty.
Thanks for understanding and removing them. I had a sick headache the rest of the day yesterday.  (Can't handle the motion of fast carnival rides either.)
