Langers L&A Fruit Juices

Post by G0Dallas »

I found the L&A Pineapple Coconut Juice recently and I love it in smoothies.  It is made by Langers and appears to be all natural.  They make a variety of fruit juices, which you can see at http://www.langers.com/L&A/L&A_main.htm or http://www.langers.com/Products/products.htm

Does anyone have any comments about this line?

I've seen the products and the juices are from concentrate. That means they've been cooked (processed). Juice should be freshly squeezed.

I was surprised to see some of the Great Value juices are not from concentrate.
Kept the OJ around when DS brought home a respiratory virus. DH got some mild symptoms but I have not had even a sniffle this year.
If you use some canned fruit that is canned in it's own juice and no sugar added, that should give enough liquid to your smoothies without needing juice. But the little bit of juice you do use in a smoothie should not be a problem as long as it is the not-from-concentrate kind.
