I searched "green smoothie" the other day on the internet and I came upon this recipe.  It is actually really good, although it is quite "pulpy".  It also isn't slushy at all...if you like it that way , I would freeze your grapes and or banana or add ice.  It has great flavor and I didn't have to add any extra sweetener to it at all...

Without further ado, I present to you...

Green Smoothie

Ingredients:

2 cups fresh baby spinach
1 cup green grapes (can be frozen)
    1 medium banana, broken up
    1/4 cup green pepper, chopped
    1/4 cup apple juice

What To Do:

I put the pepper and juice in first and blended well.
Then I added everything else and blended til smooth...I also added a few ice cubes as I like my smoothies slushy...

Hope you like this as much as I did!!!

I've been doing green drinks (smoothies) in place of fruit for dinner since I got back from Puerto Rico last month and this is my favorite because I love the taste of ginger.

Wonder how that would taste poured over a potato?
Or with blenderized white beans in it?
