Cherry Smoothie

Hi i found a great smoothie but I'm not sure if we can have eat when following LDL in it are---

1 cup- frozen cherries
2------ bananas
1 1/2 cups- light soy milk ( i used chocolate soy milk, is it still OK? )

this makes a full blender (two glasses)

if theres anything wrong with it please let me know!

Hi George! And welcome...Love the frozen cherries in my smoothies, too! The fruits in your smoothie are okay, but if your soy milk is sweetened, that's a no-no. Look thru the different posts and see the several kinds mentioned here, UNsweetened, packed in boxes on the shelves or in the refrigerated sections where the other organic milks and milk substitutes are. My favorite soy milk is the Silk brand in the teal-colored half gallon. Tastes great even w/o the sugar. I even use it in my coffee. You might want to try a handful of baby spinach or regular spinach w/o the stems (raw) in your smoothie for added nutrition. Can't taste it a bit, but it sure is good for you! Go back and search the recipe boards for other smoothie ideas, too. Good luck to you! ...nyKath
