BANANA SOYNUT SHAKE

Post by DEBBIEWEBE »

I made this today for breakfast.  I was sorta getting a little sick of the same old berry smoothie everymorning for breakfast so I came up with this and it sure was YUUUUMMMMMMYYYY.

BANANA SOYNUT BUTTER SHAKE
11oz sugar free soymilk
1 plus 1/2  banana
1 tbsp IM Healthy soynut butter
10 Ice cubes
2 packets of splenda sweetener
blend on highspeed  for 30 seconds or until ice is thoroughly blended.
Did I say YUM?
Makes 1 HUGE tumbler full or 2 regular glasses if you want to share
God Bless
Debbie

OH DEBBIE - YUMMMM!!

I just bought some more (unsweetened in the teal container) soymilk yesterday.  And although I still love my mixed fruit smoothies, I'm always up for something new... I'll definitely give this one a try!

Roger, yes yes and yes.  It was good.  You should try it before you throw out your last jar of Soynut butter.

((((((Roger)))))))) you are the king of willpower maybe you should only allow yourself to have soynut butter after youve eaten your hearty main meal lunch.  Possibly you were eating it at times when you were especially hungry??? Either way I will pray that you are able to manage your soynut butter craving so that you can continue to eat THINGS THAT YOU LOVE THAT ARE SOOOO GOOD FOR YOU!!!! I'm sure Neets would be happy to hide a jar from you and ration it out to you with LOVE because she knows how much you love it!!!!!

Roger I understand completely!!!!!  That is wonderful that you are so in tune with yourself that you recognize a weakness when you see it.  I think I should rephrase that to say......through this eating plan "THE KING" has given you this wonderful gift of WILLPOWER!!! AMEN

Hi Deb,

I know what you mean about having the same smoothie everyday.  I am definitely going to make this smoothie; it sounds fabulous and filling.  Although, I left my jar of soy nut butter at my office.  What was I thinking?!?

Most health food stores and some grocery stores.  Do you have a trader joes or a whole foods by you?  Also Wild Oats.  Our Certified Grocer carries it too here in Chicago Suburbs.

I can get it at the more upscale grocery stores here, or at the local health food store - just be careful - Even KNOWING what I was looking for, I've picked up the ones with sugar in them...  The one you're looking for says "Unsweetened" in yellow letters above the logo...

I'm going to have one of these before dinner tonight. It sounds awesome. I have a jar of soynut butter that I never seem to use for anything.

As for the chicago tv, thats how I found out about LDL, I saw Roger on WGN making some kind of pumpkin burgers or something.

Hi Terry,

I don't know if you have a Kroger in your area, but they are the only stores in my area that carry the IM Healthy soynut butter.  Good Luck!  :)
