I got this recipe from Patsyfay, it is soooo good!
I would have never thought of beans in a smoothie, but I can testify that it is GREAT!

I changed a couple things in the recipe since I didn't have everthing she put in it.  Here's my version:

1 can crushed pineapple - not drained
1 can northern beans - drained
1 can pumpkin
1 cup apple juice
vanilla extract to taste
1/2 TB pumpkin pie spice
1 pkt stevia

Blend all together in a blender, heat & serve
It is very filling so I would divide it into 3 smoothies next time
It was thick & delicious.  I had to eat it with a spoon, sort of like pudding

Try it for yourself, it is soooooo good!  Thanks Pat for the idea!!  ;D

I really enjoy PatsyFay's hot pumpkin smoothie.  I used to make it quite often.  Yours is simpler, so will try it.  Thanks,  :D JF

Ollie - I just made PatsyFay's Hot Pumpkin Smoothie for the first time today and it was really good, but like JF says, this recipe is easier with the modifications, so I'm looking forward to trying this one also.  Thanks  Jerrie

I had tried the original recipe when I first started LDL and didn't care for it. I decided to give this recipe a try and I'm really glad I did.
