Kris's quick hot apple cider

Place a mug of apple cider in microwave until hot
Add 1 bigelows cinnamon stick tea bag
let steep for a couple of minutes
Enjoy.......especially good when everyone else is drinking hot chocolate

    Please be careful that you have unsweetend apple cidar. Quite a lot of cidars have sugar in them.

As cold as it is where you live, I'd be tempted to fill a bath tub with this and soak - wow!  Could you imagine how GOOD you'd smell afterwards??  (OK, a little sticky, but....  )

I made some of this to be carried to football games this fall.  Very good and it warms up when everyone else is drinking sugar cider or hot cocoa.  Thank you so much for sharing.  Julybug

I love apple cider but didn't get any over the holidays because I just assumed it all had sugar in it.  My husband is at the store now so I called him and told him to look for the cider and the tea bags so we can have it in the evenings to warm us up.

Cider with "mulling spices" is good too!  I've been drinking hot ciders here in Central Florida when the nights dipped into the 50's and we sat outside sipping our ciders.  Now it's dropping into the 30's, yikes that's cold! and I'm staying inside to drink my hot cider!

showbirdie, thanks for reminding me that the cider comes sweetened and unsweetened!!  I need to check that gallon I just bought in the pantry.  It never occurred to me to check.  My husband and I love the mulling spices with cider also, and when the thermometer dips to 19 degrees here in AL like it did last night, that cider tastes wonderful.
