If fruit is good....what about fructose in very small quantities?

Post by SweetRose »

I was in the organic section of Fred Meyer yesterday and bought 15 cents worth ( yes, you read right!) of fructose so I could just dip my banana in. It wouldn't amount to much. I think it's probably healthier than most  sweeteners, true or faux. In minute amounts, of course. I figure I'll try it and if it causes cravings I'll just stuff myself with lettuce or something. I will have learned my lesson.

Has anyone used fructose in tiny amounts?

Thanks Little Mary, that was helpful. I'll really watch it because I don't want to have a setback. I'm not a fruit lover, per se, so there are a few little tricks that I use when I eat fruit.

I'll be careful of the fructose! :stop:
