chocolate pudding fruit

hi all,
    Have any of you folks ever tasted chocolate pudding fruit?  It is not chocolate nor pudding but a juicy brown fruit. I saw it on tv.  We ave nothing like that up here. Maybe I can find it on line in a can,if it is not loaded with sugar.    Judie

There is no ingredient list, it is a type of fruit. The only ingredient is Black Sapote (aka Chocolate Pudding Fruit). From what I read online, it looks like a green tomato when picked, then as it ripens, the flesh turns brown.

Enjae you are right. It is just a fruit, fresh fruit. So no ingredients. I wonder what it really tastes like? I think it would be fun to try it don't you?
