Hi,    I've been making this treat for breakfast for a while now. I added a slice of lemon to it cause I did not like my brown bananas. I made the recipe this morning using strawberries. It is ok but not too flavourful. I will eat it anyway.  Ive been wanting to make it with blueberries but waiting for a sale. Has anyone tried oranges? Or other fruit?

Judie, Blueberries or mixed berries are good but may need a bit more Splenda.  Peaches are GREAT!  No extra sugar needed.  Apples are also good.  I add nutmeg and allspice, too.

Wendysgoodnews, I don't know about rhubarb.  I've never developed a taste for rhubarb.  But,  Good Luck!

Has anyone ever made the pineapple upside down cake or the blueberry pie or other kind with some banana ice cream on top?  I was thinking that would be a pie a la mode.  I really like the banana ice cream and just had the thought.  It is especially good when frozen bananas are mixed with a few strawberries.  Yum!  I'm just curious if anyone ever thought of putting the two together.
