Squash

Post by Nell »

I am new to LDL. In reading the book, I have not found info. on squashes (except spaghetti squash). Are other squashes acceptable veggies, such as butternut, acorn, etc.?

Yes squash is acceptable.  There is a wonderful recipe for Butternut Soup on the boards that is delicious.  If you look there is alot of squash and pumpkin recipes.

Welcome to LDL, I kinda new myself, but I will tell you, this is the best WOE (Way of Eating) I've ever done.  My cravings are going away or least wise I don't notice them much.  The first few days I  tried to make this harder than it was, but really it's so very easy.  The food unbelievably good and not difficut to  prepare.  The receipes are awsome.

Anyway, welcome

Debbie

All types of squash, even those exotic ones you find occasionally, are acceptable.  Enjoy!
