Working Woman's Spaghetti Squash.....

Post by savannah »

Buy a spaghetti squash (a size that will fit in your crockpot)
Poke a few holes in it
Pour in 2 c. water
COVER and cook on Low 8-9 hours
CUT lengthwise, discard seeds & scrape out "spaghetti like strands" into a bowl
Serve with LDL spaghetti sauce or just a little garlic & olive oil, S&P...so easy

What a great idea!!! Soooo easy.  I'll do that this week because I have one in frig.  I eat sauce over it with a whole lot of mushrooms.  Thanks, Forever Friend

Thanks for the crockpot tip.

I love it with LDL friendly sauce (made with tomatoes, veggies and LDL sausage)

I just bought some spaghetti squash. Now I don't remember what I was going to make with it. The crock pot method is so easy. Thanks revolutionary recipe enthusiasts.

I love to put Pizza soup over it, but have been thinking one day to do a sort-of-chicken lo mein.
