I'm not a big fan of lots of garlic or cumin and have tried many other hummus recipes. So I came up with this.
GINNY’S GREEN OLIVE HUMMUS
1 15-oz. can Chickpeas/Garbonzo beans, rinsed & drained
2 T. Lemon Juice 2 T. Water
½ tea. Salt 1 T. Olive Oil
2 tea. Garlic Herb Seasoning 2 T. Green Olive Juice (from jar)
1 cup Green Olives, chopped
Mix everything except chopped green olives in blender or processor.
When thoroughly blended stir in chopped green olives.

I think I'll love this--it will be sort of like a pesto that I had at a large hotel restaurant. It was olives and evoo. Thanks for this. I have bookmarked it. JF

Ginny,
For me, anything that includes green olives (and black ones too) is a hit. Your hummus recipe has made it into my LDL recipe binder.
