Total Time: 10 mins
Prep Time: 10 mins
Cook Time: 0 mins
Servings: 4

Ingredients:• 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
• 2 tablespoons white wine vinegar
• 3 tablespoons Miracle Whip LoFat Mayo or Greek Yogurt*
• 1 tablespoon lemon juice
• 2 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese
• 1/4 teaspoon garlic salt
• 1/2 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
• 1 -2 tablespoon water

Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients in a blender or food processor; puree until smooth.

* Since Miracle Whip is sweet, you may have to add some stevia to sweeten Mayo or GY if you prefer the sweetness.

I am new here and am just now reading the Let's Do Lunch book. Is the Olive Garden copycat salad dressing okay to use with this program? I take that it is, or it wouldn't be posted here. Is it to be used sparingly?

Welcome, hellopf

If you make the suggested substitution then the dressing is LDL acceptable.
All dressings are basically fat and should only be used in the smallest amount.
That is why Roger suggests having dressing on the side and dipping the tines of your fork on the dressing and then "spear" the salad on your fork rather than pouring the dressing over the salad.
There are loads of dressing recipes on the web side.
It will be fun for you to try several to find which ones encourage you to eat more salad and which ones even promote weight loss. The ones with more citrus juice or vinegar and less oils are the best. Olive Oil (EVOO) is the healthiest to use for salads.

Thank You Linda. Please keep up the "good computer skills learning"....lol.
I am going to try this but use FF mayo. This should keep the creamy consistancy
add dried Italian herbs to cover up the after taste of the FF mayo.
For me, I only use that in receipes. Thought I could handle it in tuna, but it's just not for me. My GF likes it though...I can do real mayo now, even make my own sometimes, keeping it on the side as a dipper.
Love the picture. Now, I have to go find a fancy crystal dipping dish for my dressings dripping...lol
