Marinate for london broil (question please)

Hi everyone,

Wondered if you could help me make this an LDL marinate?  Here's what I have...

1 chopped onion
3T Honey
2T vingegar
3/4 cup of oil

London Broil marinate

1 chopped onion
3 T honey
2 T vinegar
1/4 cup of soy sauce
3/4 cup of oil
1 1/2 tsp of ginger

season meat to taste,, marinate 24 hrs,, brown on grill.. Place in pan with juice & cook 30-40 mins on grill.  Leave inside pink

Hi MaryJ.  What kind of oil is being used here? 
I'm sure you'll have a definite answer to your question soon.
