Post by VickiLynn »

Homemade Chili Seasoning  #1
1 1/2 Tbsp. cornstarch
1 Tbsp dried onion flakes
1/2 tsp chili powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp ground cumin
1/4 tsp Splenda
Sprinkle of cayenne pepper
Sprinkle of garlic powder

Combine all ingredients and mix well.  Makes the equivalent of 1 package of store bought chili seasoning mix.

Homemade Chili Seasoning #2
1/2 cup cornstarch
3 Tbsp onion powder
3 Tbsp dehydrated minced onion flakes
2 Tbsp + 2 tsp chili powder
1 Tbsp ground cumin
1 Tbsp salt
1/2 Tbsp + 1 1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 Tbsp crushed red pepper flakes
1 tsp Splenda

Combine all ingredients and mix well. Store in an airtight container, preferably in your freezer. 1/3 of the mix is the equivalent of 1 packet of dry chili seasoning mix.
