I don't know if I should post this as a dip or a soup.......maybe in both. VERY GOOD& EASY! I served it New Years Eve and everyone loved it! I think I got it out of an old recipe book I have as I'm weeding out bad recipes
1 16oz can kidney beans, rinsed & drained
1 15oz can kernel corn, drained
1 15oz can black beans, rinsed & drained
1 14oz stewed tomatoes
1 8 oz can tomato sauce
1 4 oz can chopped green chilies
1 envelope taco seasoning
1/2 cup chopped onion
In crock pot, combine ingredients. Cover and cook on low 5-7 hours. ** To make soup add a 29oz can of tomato sauce**

haneyclan,
Any soup without meat is considered acceptable for a
no protein dinner.
So this one would be definitely work.

Watch out for the stewed tomatoes. Most of the ones I have seen have sugar added. I added plain diced tomatoes and fresh bell pepper, and used the mild rotel dices tomatoes and green chiles for a little fire. Co-workers loved it.
