I received my Penzey Spice catalog yesterday and there was a recipe in there I thought I would share, there might already be one floating around here similar,if so, sorry.
They say this is "totally fat free and works well with bell pepper strips,as well as tortilla chips(or corn thins for us ldl'ers)
It is spicy"

1-16oz can black beans, drained and rinsed

1/4 cup pickled jalapeno slices(available in cans or bottles in the ethnic section)
1/2 tsp.minced garlic soaked in 2 tsp.water for 5 mins
1 tsp.freshly ground pepper
1/4 tsp ground cumin
2 tsp. chili powder(regular, medium or hot)
1 tbs lime juice (juice of 1 lime)

Put all the ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth
