Bananas are a rich source of potassium and other nutrients. Bananas reduce the risk of heart diseases and blood pressure. Bananas have long been a favorite source of energy for endurance and recreational athletes. Bananas reduce depression and help to quit smoking.

For some, bananas can be constipating and used in excess daily can stall or cause weight gain.
Trying to substitute snack food at work, bananas were handy.
But 2-3 bananas a day turned out to be excess for me!
