Juicing on LDL?

Post by Scotsgal »

Hi, Being new and awaiting the book, can you tell me if I can juice for breakfast rather then have smoothies?  I like to juice lots of veggies. Thanks.

I'm guessing that juice for breakfast would cause you to get hungry pretty quickly.  Juices are basically processed so the body will digest them very quickly.  The fiber may have been strained out of the whole fruit/vegetables.  Juice is best used as an occasional food or to add enough liquid to get a smoothie blending.  Anytime we eat whole, real foods we are doing our bodies and our weight-loss goals a real favor.  Keep the questions coming.  You can do this and experience the joy of LDL that we all are smiling about  ;)!  Pam
