Asking for prayers for those in Irene's path

I know we have praying people on these boards, so I thought I would ask
for prayers for those of us in Hurricane Irene's path.
I am close to the coast of NC and am already getting rain from the outer
bands......no winds yet, but they are expected in the next couple of hours.

PLEASE PRAY....i live on long island and i need prayer, especially that because i'm a nurse, i HAVE to go to work this weekend to take care of my patients....

Prayers for everyone in Irene's path. The news said that 1/5 of all people in the US are in its path because the east coast contains such highly populated areas. For now, I am happy to be in NW Ohio. Pam

Oklahoma has already deployed Red Cross Units and some of our Commision Corp officers have also been deployed to the coast.
Prayers for everyones's safety.
While you all are praying, we need the rain so desperately here.
It would take an out-right miracle but anything to break this heat/drought bubble!
Lord, send the rain quicky West!
There is no need of the East Coast suffering floods when we have lots of room out here to contain all that water!
