Please keep us in your prayers. On my way to theis airportor the long flght to Fairbanks. After abdominal surgery to relieve intestinal obstruction,  she is still in a lot of pain. Possibly another kidney stone. May have to fly her to urologist in Anchorage or Seattle. Need to be with her.

Linda- praying for you and your daughter.  You are going exactly where you should.  She needs you and will do so much better with her "mommy" at her side.  Praying that she makes a rapid recovery and is fit as a fiddle for Christmas.
Hugs- Pam

Quick update.
Left her house last night at 11:30 pm to board a plane for Seattle/Tacoma.
Landed at 6am (no sleep). Shutteled over to Madigan Hosp., quickly admitted and scheduled for colonoscopy in am. Bowel prep tonight. No sleep for either of us tonight.

I am shocked. Jessica got clear liquids for supper. Said she would try the beef broth. I looked at the envelope of the powdered bullion and the first thing that caught my eye was no gluten, no MSG.
It is called HerbOx. I am sure I have never seen it in Lawton, OK so will look for it on line.
Really liking this hospital!

Didn't realize your daughter wasn't on the mend yet--warm wishes and prayers to you both, Linda.

As for the HerbOx, well, I'm not surprised--it's Seattle, where you have a fairly large tree-hugging, granola-eating demographic.  (I lived there for a year and a half.)  And Bastyr University is there--"...A pioneer in natural medicine since its inception, Bastyr continues to be in the forefront of developing the model for 21st-century medicine....Areas of study include: Naturopathic Medicine, Acupuncture, Herbal Sciences, Exercise Science, Human Biology, Nutrition, Psychology, Midwifery, Permaculture".  Pretty interesting.

Hi Linda.

I hope things go well with your daughter! With Mom there for extra TLC, combined with your medical knowledge, we pray for complete recovery.

HerbOx is common in BC -- I've seen it in the grocery stores whenever we spend any time north of the border. Not too surprising, then, that they have it in neighboring US states. You should be able to order it online if you can't find a store near you that carries it.

God bless,
Terri
