Hi Folks,
Please keep my son Mike in your prayers he has to start rabies shots. Last Friday nite he was bitten by a stray dog and policeman let him go and since no one knows where the dog is he has to take the rabies shots. It is a series of 4 shots. I think they start today. I will let you know how it comes out. Thanks
Judie

How unfortunate that he has to undergo this treatment because of the policeman's ineptness! Prayers for Mike.

thanks Pam,
Yep they don't like to pick up key and take animal to pound like they are suppossed to. Just laziness. The clinic has 1 shot available for today to start and then 3 more follow at intervals of a few days. I feel bad for Mike but what can you do,it has to be done. The shots have to be fedexed in for next week. Have a good day.

The rabies shots are nothing like they used to be when the series was 21 shots.
I have given those to adults before.
Have given the 4shot series to kids and it is very well tolerated.
he will do fine and better safe.....

Thanks Linda,
Mike had his first shot today. He has 4 more to go over this week and next. He said it did not hurt and he feels fine. Although even as a baby shots nevered bothered him.

Snowbirdie,
I'm sorry to hear Mike has to go through this, but I'm glad to hear he's tolerating it well. And I agree, better safe than sorry! *HUGS*

hi All,
Just wanted to let you all know Mike is tolerating the shots well. He seems to have no reaction whatever. He is his happy self. I hope he learned to stay away other peoples dogs. Judie
