Dr called yesterday with results I do have lung cancer. Going to oncologist today to find out the staging and where we go from here. I appreciate your prayers.

Thank you all so much! I really appreciate. I will be starting radiation and chemo soon. And possibly surgery to remove the tumor when it shrinks.

Sounds like I'm in for a long ride. As I'm reading back over this, it seems like I'm reading someone else post. Just so unreal...

Mary we are all joining in prayer for you and with you. *HUGS* I will not stop praying for you. God is greater than ALL things including cancer. There is no form of cancer, no form, that somebody somewhere has not survived. They are doing amazing things with medicine these days and you are going to be no exception. Your test is going to be your testimony! You are LOVED beyond measure.

My church and I have lifted you up in prayer. I ask for God to send His power excelling angels to minister healing to you. Cancer is not one disease, it is many different diseases. Medicine has made good progress in slowing and curing it. You have a positive attitude and I am sure there will be days when you feel overwhelmed, but as Linda said, God has overcome the world and your LDL lifestyle will help you fight this. It is hard, but you can do hard things. I have tried many times to send you a message many times but was blocked from the boards, but my prayers are never blocked. God bless you.

I've been off the boards for awhile and just read your post. I am so sorry that you have to face this ordeal but know that you are a fighter and will conquer over all.

P.S. I am still making quite a few of the recipes you have submitted and will think of you often as I make your delicious meals.

Thank you everyone for all your prayers. I start both chemo and radiation in the morning. I'm a little nervous but very optimistic too! I will try to update often.
