Finally home!

Post by Mary J »

Hi,

Thought I'd catch you up. I just got out of the hospital on Thurs. Was in there pretty much the whole month of July. Had my first surgery on July 3rd. They were able to remove all of my tumor, thank God! Plus removed a part of my lung and a section of two of my ribs.

I then had an infection, so they. had to go back in and scrape all the infection out. Then I had to have a blood transfusion. Plus my lung collapsed. Everything that could go wrong did go wrong. What a nightmare!

I'm extremely sore and still weak but on the mend! I'm not giving up! Thank you for caring and supporting me in this journey. It has truly helped to have friends like you!

Hugs,
Mary J

I'm back in Oklahoma, but the friend I am rooming with doesn't have a computer. I am visiting my granddaughter in Norman and on her computer. I have lost 15 of the 20 lbs. I gained in Alaska. I am on LDL strictly and mostly vegetarian. I am feeling better and no more nose bleeds, although the specialist doubts it was exacerbated by the wheat. However, I'm not going back on wheat to check it out!! #:-s Life is good. Continuing to pray for you Mary, sorry to hear about the infection. Stay away from sugar to fight infection. Eat fresh fruit abundantly. Your body has been through a lot. God will send His healing angels to minister to you.
