A prayer of THANKS !!

Dear Lord,

Thank you for the following:

Thank you for listening to me during my darkest hour and hearing my pleas.

Thank you for answering me in your magnificent way.

Thank you for guiding me to watch the news, and listen to Roger Troy’s story.

Thank you for leading me to the Lets Do Lunch website.

Thank you for giving me the determination to read the Lets Do Lunch book in a single sitting.

Thank you for giving me the strength to admit it’s time to change.

Thank you for saying “today is the beginning of a new life”.

Thank you for constantly holding my hand as I continue down the path of health.

Thank you for allowing all these wonderful LDL members into my life.

Thank you for giving me the courage to share my deepest secrets.

Thank you for permitting me to accept these wonderful people’s friendship and continued support.

And finally,

Thank you for loving me so much that you allowed all these wonderful things to happen to me.

Dear TOM,
This is one powerful prayer buddy, I will defineatly be memorizing this for future prayer time.  I am so grateful to GOd for helping Roger come up with this plan and sharing it with all of us.  You articulated to the T how I feel about this whole experience.  Tom you are such a blessing to this board and I thank God for giving me the opportunity to share this journey with you and for getting to meet you and all the other wonderful people on these boards.

Hey buddy Tom, thx to U 2!  U have no idea how much a couple a times when U wrote something I needed 2 here it.  The thing U wrote in this prayer about your deepest secrets is the same as me.  I M so glad theres these wonderful friends on these boards who aren't gonna judge us so we can say what we feel but it would be embarrassing to say it face 2 face.  U R a great guy!  I M grateful that you were funny instead of judgemental when I fell offtracks and hit the bottle.  It won't happen again I hope cuz i really wanna be sucessfull. I been busy getting back on track and cooking again, but i really did think about what you and ang and nikki and mary said about God.  I like this prayer and I will say it 2.
