Let's Do Lunch Community

My granddaughter was diagnosed with linear scleroderma in February.  She has been on chemotherapy and other medications since then.  Thank goodness the chemo is mild and other than nausea, she has no other bad symptoms from the treatment.  She will be on this for at least six more months.  Anyway we are very thankful her scleroderma does not appear to be systemic and her outlook is good, but being 15 she is feeling somewhat an outcast. She cannot attend regular school, and due to her compromised immunity, cannot be around crowds without a mask.  She is a very intelligent, sweet kid.  All prayers for her recovery and remission of this disease would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you, LittleMary.  I have been reading a lot on all the message boards and although I have only found this WOL a few days ago, I feel like I have found a group of friends who share a common interest with me.  My granddaughter, Kelcie, is the oldest of my six grandchildren, born on my birthday, so she is very special in so very many ways.  Thanks for the support.

Been out of town for work since last week.  Just wanted to thank you all so very much for your prayers!  I know there is power in prayer and I am claiming a victory in her healing!
