The PS was added because of what happened the last time I posted about Ron's cancer. I'm sure the two members who sent those messages meant well and were just trying to help, but it was almost more than I could handle. I considered leaving the boards because of it.

Ollie and all the board friends, I just want to tell everyone about Ron.  He has made such an impact on our area in the schools and in the community.  Most of his efforts have been in helping others.  His attitude is of love, not blame.  Together, our prayers, to our heavenly Father are needed.  The scripture, "Where two or three in My name ask anything, I will hear.  He is the Great Physician.  I've seen His power in the past in so many ways.  Ollie and Ron have been such a positive force together, that an award in Red Cross is named for them, "The Rollie Award".  I'm thankful that Ollie has more energy by being less in weight because of LDL.  She is a walking example of what can be done in size when the principles of LDL is followed.  She looks so much younger and her energy level abounds in her smile.  and prayers, JF

Ron passed away at 4:30 this morning. While my heart is breaking, I know he is now in a much better place and is not suffering.

I know everyone will keep her in your thoughts and prayers in this difficult time.

Ron was sleeping in the hospital bed and I was sleeping in a recliner right beside him. We slept holding hands until he woke up at about 4:30 having severe chest pains and trouble breathing. He died in my arms.

I have been been here lately but as a fellow educator I have checked back to see how Ron was doing. I am so sorry to hear of your loss. May you find strength in your faith and from other the comments of others about the positive influence Ron has had on so many lifes.
